As well as providing both Factory Gate and Store Delivery services to Sainsbury's and Factory Gate services to Asda, NFT Distribution offers distribution services to a variety of manufacturers and other major retailers within its Shared User Network. As our depots are located to provide nationwide coverage of the UK, we are able to address the needs of both large and small manufacturers due to our large trunking network.
The speed at which we operate requires sophisticated control systems to enable us to keep track of all our activities. NFT is the market leader in time-critical, same-day distribution, and has invested significantly in technology over the years, implementing bespoke computer systems to help us to plan journeys, control the flow of paperwork and track our vehicles whilst on the road. We are constantly looking to invest in new technology to ensure we stay ahead of the game and offer the best possible service.
We offer a web-based Proof Of Delivery solution to our customers, looking towards a paperless future, where our customers can be assured that their product is in safe hands.
Offering a range of services, from delivering individual pallets to managing entire networks, our key cost drivers are about vehicle fill and fleet efficiency.
Our current fleet contains over 370 tractor units and 390 refrigerated trailers, and we regularly update our state-of-the-art fleet to make sure we take factors such as emissions, fuel consumption and driver safety and comfort into account.
Not all of our vehicles are branded with the NFT Distribution logo - we have arrangements with our customers where their own trailer livery is used, again providing a high level of customer service.
NFT is also active within organisations such as the CBI and the FTA, making sure we are kept abreast of, and have the chance to influence, legislative and environmental developments such as Working Time Regulations, road tolling and digital tachographs.
