NFT Distribution is committed to minimising its impact on the environment and to do everything practical to ensure that it is a good neighbour.
We recognise that our day-to-day operations, both in transport and warehousing, have the potential to impact on the environment and we are committed to minimising these impacts through good management and continuous improvement. This will be facilitated by a structured process of engagement with all our colleagues and carefully documented management procedures, based on identifying and controlling risks
Priorities
As a minimum, we will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and other requirements but will also:
- Minimise the level of harmful emissions through the efficient use of resources and the implementation of appropriate new technologies.
- Minimise the risks of pollution and other environmental incidents through carefully prepared and documented procedures and plans.
- Minimise use of natural resources such as energy, water and raw materials.
- Ensure that all employees, suppliers and contractors understand their responsibilities in delivering the aims of our environmental policy.
- Demonstrate our commitment to environmental management through the implementation of management systems in line with ISO 14001.
